IQ and why it does and does not matter

IQ (intelligence quotient) is a numerical measure that mostly indicates something about the speed of someone’s intellect, along with that person’s capacity for retention of facts. Different ranges of intellect do appear to have certain specialties (strengths), though. For instance…

IQ | Specialty or Specialties
70s: practicality
80s: anger management boost
90s: pacifism boost
100s: building things
110s: discrete tasks boost
120s: anger management boost
130s: synthesis
140s: appreciation, personal interests boost
150s: development
160s: culture building, crossover (broad) communication of ideas, synthesis boost
170s: computation, discrete tasks boost
180s: encyclopedic knowledge, engendering interest from 160s and above
190s: synthesis boost
200s: anger management boost

Reality proves out that people at all levels of IQ can be capable of feats of genius, which is to say that they can astound with their giftedness, the quality of their output, their innovation, and their mastery. The genius range of IQ (usually defined as 130 and above) does not accurately indicate that genius cannot be found elsewhere for the looking, but simply that we can probably expect things like academic giftedness in a person.
