Aldebaran is the Watcher in the East, the Royal Star associated with the archangel Michael. It is sometimes known within the set of four Royal Stars as the “Eye of the Bull”. Earth humans classify Aldebaran as part of the constellation Taurus, although it’s now in the Gemini zone (Tropical). Aldebaran is the Behenian fixed star associated with the minerals ruby and garnet and the plant milk thistle.
