Spica

Spica is a binary star system with an astral planet that could be called Spica 2 (the second from its cynosure star), which has four moons (three astral moons and one etheric moon), and there (including on the moons) live the Spicans.

Spicans are etheric and sapient. They say that it is indeed strange to live on an astral planetary or lunar body in a denser etheric body, but it happens in many places. It is a little but not entirely like swimming. Spicans are on the small side, green in various shades, very cute, and are shaped rather like Snorks (the characters from the 1980s cartoon of the same name). They know how to have fun, other species across the galaxy usually find them fun too if and when they interact. They are extremely studious, practice interstellar travel, and love to observe and analyze the creatures they find at home and in other star systems. They tend to keep a low profile. They will occasionally try to communicate insightful and fascinating analysis to humans spontaneously, using telepathy. Spicans are aligned Neutral Good (Good in Neutral Good meaning always proactively striving for good objectives and good actions) as a species. They love animals.

Virgo is an Earth constellation variously recognized in many cultures as being a young woman or a goddess, and its brightest point Spica is often associated with the Divine Feminine. Although being part of the zodiacal constellation Virgo, Spica found in the Libra zone (note that zodiacal constellations are not identical to the zodiacal zones, which divide up Earth’s night sky systematically) in a significant alignment with Arcturus of Boötes, which is sometimes associated with the Divine Masculine. Spica is the Behenian fixed star associated with the mineral emerald and the plant sage.
