COVID-19 as we near 2022

COVID-19 is a mutation of the SARS virus that hit the news circa 2002. It is a virus (not a bacteria or parasite) that falls under the category of coronavirus, which is known for having distinctive protein spikes protruding from it that at some point someone probably thought looked somewhat like the tines of a crown. COVID-19 has caused a lot of fear in the world. It does not have to present with severe symptoms to kill weeks after infection, during what is sometimes called its multisystem inflammatory phase. When it’s severe, it sometimes kills very quickly. I’ve heard that it has a tendency to cause fatalities about 5% of the time (worldwide, diagnosed and undiagnosed combined), which is one in twenty cases, or less. It seems to be proving to be over three times as deadly as influenza is today.

If this disease was sweeping through a community in the old days, they might call it a plague, but it would admittedly be a mild plague. People are scared, and they have a right to be.

Delta is another mutation of SARS. So far, it is easier to catch but less dangerous than COVID-19. Since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, they’ve been naming SARS mutations Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, etc., and usually referring to them as “strains” of COVID-19. Several variants of SARS had already been documented for years, having been discovered some time before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Omicron seems to be kind of a chaotic concept. It seems like it may be a range of different viruses, possibly. Some people claim that it’s a mysterious strain that originated in vaccinated patients. It is still unknown whether the symptoms of Omicron vary from COVID-19 symptoms. Discovered in November 2021, Omicron is said to be spreading rapidly all over the world– many months to over a year quicker than COVID-19 (which was only called Coronavirus at the outset) spread, if Omicron only has one or even a small handful of origins. Despite how it’s being written about, it is very likely not possible to test seropositive for Omicron yet using any preexisting mainstream test (science doesn’t exactly occur at the speed of sound), and it may be most commonly diagnosed by clinical evaluation. People have been warned that they may or may not need to be particularly worried.

In large part, Omicron actually seems like it may be a theorized mutation of COVID-19 that is particularly severe and may cause organ dysfunction. The Omicron theory may have been developed as a result of autopsies of people who’d been diagnosed with COVID-19, but showed additional and abnormal causes of death in common. Early reports indicated that Omicron presented with heart symptoms, though that may have been tacitly dropped for now.

Is Omicron what they’re going to call “Be Around” Syndrome? Will they say it’s linked to SARS? I don’t know. I’ll be on the lookout.

(Note as of October 2022: I believe I may have finally come into shamanic communication with a virus that was near my current environment that thinks it might be the Omicron variant, but does not know whether or not to identify that way and does not know if it belongs in the category of coronavirus; by contrast, COVID-19 and Delta usually do know to identify themselves in those respects, the monkeypox virus seems to be able to identify itself as such when it’s anywhere in my city, etc. For the record, I do tell viruses not to harm anyone nor infect anyone when we communicate.)

The four horsemen in Revelations

Is it the Apocalypse? Yes. Go on and tell me that it doesn’t ever feel like the Apocalypse these days. Now you’re being silly.

The book of Revelation in the Bible is also sometimes called the Apocalypse of St. John or more popularly Revelations, by virtue of it containing a series of detailed visions, presumably describing the future. It is very likely a channeled vision/report from an admittedly fallible (John of Patmos was an extremely fallible guy) Christian perspective on what happens at the end of the Kali Yuga, which John of Patmos would have very likely known about, along with stories about the future undertakings of the hero Kalki against evil.

Since the book of Revelation is highly symbolic, it has long seemed mysterious to those who read it. Among the strangest and most ominous elements in the vision are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

White horse

“Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, ‘Come.’ I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.”

– Revelation 6:1–2

The Lamb in this chapter of Revelation is quite possibly a warning about the Antichrist, who is a proverbial wolf in sheep’s clothing. The Antichrist has often been predicted elsewhere as a figure who emerges to promote widespread pedophilia and other immorality and to ruin lives, lying and misrepresenting himself all the while. He actually represents things that humans had to defeat as a fundamental requirement of civilization in order for us to collectively get anywhere in the first place. In Revelation, as soon as it’s declared that a Lion can accomplish the discovery of what is in the book of the Apocalypse, there appears a Lamb. The Lamb seems mysterious to me. He presents himself decked out in features representing gifts that do not befit a lamb: extra eyes, extra horns. He’s creepy to picture, and the scenes that feature him have a creepy quality sometimes. He gets a lot of credit because of the idea that he may have suffered, and looks slain. He seems perhaps to fool a number of people who should know better. He breaks the seals and keeps messing stuff up. The seals represent situations that the Antichrist and his faction have instigated and other occurrences during the Apocalypse.

It may be after Revelation started circulating that it became popular to call Jesus Christ the Lamb of God, but that’s uncertain. That epithet certainly made it into the gospels. It’s unclear whether this was a misunderstanding of the fact that the Lamb of Revelation may actually be the Antichrist or whether Jesus Christ is presented in that epithet as a foil to the untrustworthy Lamb of Revelation. Indeed, there appear to be two or three Lambs referred to in Revelation (suggesting that “the Lamb” may actually be something more like an office or role held by different people at different points in the narrative): the Antichrist and later the Lamb of God, who is Jesus Christ himself and possibly also refers to the Second Coming of Christ, in addition to a beast who is described in Chapter 13 as having horns like a lamb.

The book referred to in Revelation Chapter 6 seems to be the story of how humanity gets through the end of the Kali Yuga to the Satya Yuga (or Krita Yuga), a blessed time that operates like God’s kingdom as a literal and terrestrial paradise.

The rider on the white horse seems to indicate that the Aquarian Christ, Second Coming and (quite possibly) final Vishnu avatar Kalki, who symbolizes the war against evil at least, and who is specifically known for being associated with a white horse, must come into prominence at the time of the Apocalypse, forced by the unacceptable activities of the Antichrist and his followers (possibly represented by the Lamb and his fellow abominations), and that person will help conquer evil and also gain worldly power. The true Christ, as opposed to the Antichrist, is the Lion, like Vishnu’s avatar Narasimha, who battles and defeats evil. In contrast to the creepy Lamb’s seven eyes and seven horns (which are reminiscent of the other abominations in Revelation), Kalki is said to exhibit eight mystic opulences and eight special qualities of Godhead. This same rider probably appears later in Revelation Chapter 19, after a description of a bride that may be the same woman described earlier as being clothed with the sun. The rider is described as Faithful and True, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, and turns the tide of the Apocalypse. After that point, everything starts getting better.

Red horse

“When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, ‘Come.’ And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from Earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.”

– Revelation 6:3–4

The rider on the red horse indicates a time of violence, especially spurred by the Antichrist faction. Acts of violence and terrorism are rife during the Apocalypse, and they take a huge toll. Before the Apocalypse is totally over, the tables must turn against the evil people who revel in violence, and many of the decent and questing human beings left on Earth may find themselves in positions where they must use judicious and careful acts of many kinds that will decisively stop evil.

Black horse

“When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, ‘Come.’ I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not damage the oil and the wine.'”

– Revelation 6:5–6

The rider on the black horse indicates that the food supply will be disrupted, intentionally spoiled, and even tainted during the Apocalypse, and admonishes people to stop damaging any food and drink that others may eat or consume. Municipal water supplies and other water sources must be protected and managed responsibly during this time. Food prices also come up as a possible issue. Food, drink, and water must be safe and affordable for people; worse than that makes for a grim and mean Apocalypse.

Pale horse

“When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, ‘Come.’ I looked, and behold, a pale horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.”

– Revelation 6:7–8

The rider on the pale or roan horse indicates that during the Apocalypse, the population will fall very significantly through a wide range of factors, with a 25% or higher reduction being predicted.

Prophecies are electric right now. Many are burgeoning. Many are pointing to the recent past, the present, and virtually all are offering some kind of hope for a future that’s better. I wouldn’t say that if things didn’t seem so bleak right now. The fact of Revelation is that most of all it serves as a set of warnings, not as a roadmap. If we stay sensitive to and careful of the type of hardships the chapter describes, we can cut off those patterns quickly and suffer less. The book of Revelation seems to specifically warn us about misunderstandings, victimization, contamination, hunger, corruption, deceptions, deaths, wanton immorality, alienation, war, natural disasters, animal attacks, and more. It also tells us to have hope.

I remember being taught as a child that Revelation was a political critique of historical issues that were ongoing while it was being written, and that’s not a theory without merit, but it doesn’t necessarily feel like that to read it, does it? It was a vision: one that counts as prophecy. It is about the Apocalypse. It’s not clear that John of Patmos understood it completely point for point, and some points were very likely omitted. Some elements in the vision were trying to tell him something specific and personal. He was exiled on the island of Patmos, not simply due to religious persecution, but because he actually did have to change his ways, behavior-wise, and the vision (as many visions tend to do) likely contained messages about that.

But a lot of people think the vision was mostly about us, here and now. A lot of people are feeling like this is the Apocalypse.

Past life à gogo

Identity is mostly just a story you tell yourself about yourself. And it should be a true story.

For some, Ascension changes the story to be a longer one, and it can do so in multiple ways. When you can remember and summon up past lives, you have an expanded identity, but it doesn’t actually change that much. This is mysterious, and can teach us much.

I started ascending very noticeably in 2012. I had spiritual experiences, was pelted with refreshing ideas that came up suddenly and revolutionary to upend my tired ones. I wasn’t so bad before, but I started liking myself better. I found myself in possession of an increased spirit of uprightness and measured fairness, and a willingness to forgive if I thought that would be the healthier choice for me. Some of the shapes in my face started changing (note: this won’t happen to everyone who ascends, and I’m told can be prevented in cases where people don’t want it), and I liked the new ones even better than I’d liked the original shapes. In 2017, I started to spontaneously remember my past lives, which kicked into high gear in 2019 when I first read the Ramayana and noticed that I could remember that time.

After that, I started to channel past lives when they came up. Sometimes I’d walk around somehow rendering one of the many people I used to be. Old stories make themselves known, and long past personalities emerge. Sometimes the memories are sad, and I cry about those old wounds until I don’t anymore. It’s important to remember not to blame nor seek to punish other people here now for things that their other lives they had before did to me, even if I pick up on having suffered old crimes and miseries. I know they’re not those people anymore, and I hope that they learned to do better in subsequent lifetimes. I did. Overall, it’s a very cool experience, remembering and channeling past lives immersively and vividly, and it’s an ability I always wondered about. If reincarnation were true, would that be possible?

Some of my past lives bring skills and knowledge with them. Some of my past lives were doctors, often in China but just as often from somewhere else. Some of my past lives were famous actors and actresses, and they tell me they think they could still do exciting things through me creatively, given the right chances. Some of them want to try to live my life alongside me, in a sense. This can happen. I’ve made it clear to them that this lifetime is for good, and that I will not compromise.

There are some indications that there may be a darker side to past lives being activated in certain cases, especially during the time of the Apocalypse. Some people may be experiencing characteristics from some of their past lives that cause them to have terrible habits, vicious sensibilities, and perhaps even, in some sense, the vacated consciences of those now dead. This seems to be a mechanism of the Apocalypse much more than a mechanism of Ascension. It may also be related to the Luciferian Doctrine expiring. These experiences are to be banished and rejected, as they do not seem to support good behavior or justice.

Pitfalls in the Western zodiac

These are troubled times. Never has there been a time in which it is so crucial for people to avoid their personal and moral weaknesses and contact the best in themselves. Don’t wash out on the Apocalypse. Never sell out what’s good in yourself.

In the Apocalypse, these pitfalls can have extremely dire results. These pitfalls may each be specific vulnerabilities for people who have the sign indicated dominant in their birth chart (including if they have an Ascendant, Sun, Moon, or chart ruler there), but as I often say, everyone has all the signs present up there in the sky and in the wheel of their chart, and we do feel them. Everyone should really avoid all these pitfalls; they’re extremely bad ones. The sextile sign of each sign (any sign that can be found 60° away, like Aries and Gemini, Taurus and Cancer, and so on) may also be particularly vulnerable to its pitfalls as well as their own.

Esoteric Astrology (the astrology of the self when focused on spiritual development) addresses the soul or spiritually evolving self and its needs, and provides a good counterpoint to the pitfalls that can emerge from tendencies found within the signs exoterically.

Aries: In Alice Bailey’s Esoteric Astrology, esoteric Aries (i.e. Aries energies experienced in the context of advanced spiritual development) is known as a place “where the will of God is known”. At its very and highly advanced best, Aries energies give us access to claircognizance, which is a very potent wisdom experienced through a sixth sense (and here is one example of a good place to remember that everyone has all the signs up in the sky). But Aries at its worst gets arrogant about its fast twitch ideas and confuses them with wisdom. Aries also has a pitfall where it sometimes tries to be different for the sake of showing off to others, which isn’t what being different actually does. Corrupted Aries energy has a tendency to get confused about this. Really, Aries has a longing to be a visionary, which requires a clear head and judicious perspective, whether one ends up concurring with the crowd or not. Cultivate that with sincerity for long enough, and you may end up standing out in a very authentic and exciting way. All signs should avoid being the bully, and this is absolutely true of Aries. They forget how to play if they slip into a bullying persona, and can lose themselves with dizzying speed.

Taurus: It’s said in Esoteric Astrology that Taurus is meant to find and journey the Path of Light, which is the ongoing creative experience of choosing right over wrong and depth over the kind of surface flash that’s built to fail. It’s important for Taurus not to lose its relationship with spiritual light. All energies do very poorly wrapped in corruption and darkness, and this is very true of Taurus. What’s absolutely terrible for Taurus is getting selfish, getting mean, getting pigheaded, getting resentful, and getting indifferent enough to be lazy or warped. Taurus’s exoteric ruler Venus is dead set against all such things, and wants to be kind, sprightly, affectionate, and productive of good in the sign of Taurus. Taurus should also avoid pedantry lest they become obtuse, and because it weighs everything down without doing any real good. It is not satisfying, they just sometimes want it to be (of course it’s still fine to advocate for correctness when appropriate, don’t be pedantic with me right now). Taurus must take care not to be dangerous. They can be daring in a lot of ways, but dangerous (or menacing) to others doesn’t agree with them whatsoever. And never dare to do worse to people than common decency dictates. Of all people, certainly Taurus has the aptitude to comprehend that daring to do worse than common decency is an act of extreme cowardice.

Gemini: In the esoteric sense, Gemini becomes human to seek understanding and learn to relate to the inner twin that is the soul. The exoteric ruler of Gemini is Mercury, but its esoteric ruler is Venus. The first of these paints a portrait of Gemini as precocious and full of interest, while the second paints a pretty picture of Gemini in harmony with self and others, blooming with true creativity and altruism (fused together they make a profound esoteric image that communicates much about Gemini). Gemini in its corrupted manifestations likes to seem and talk about these things more than it cares to be them and do them. Gemini can create a lot of trouble for itself by not following its own advice. For instance, people born with dominant Gemini energies can frustrate others by being those people who talk a good game about communication, but don’t actually communicate. In fact, they often avoid higher level conversations, where the parties zoom back from banter, fact sharing, and gossip, and speak collaboratively and unguardedly about what it is that they are really doing, and what it really means. This avoidance can create a situation where their relationships have an expiration date because no positive life force gets invested in them. Cruelty is never good, and important parts of Gemini wither when they are cruel. Geminis should never lie, or they won’t deserve the reputation for honesty and candor that they crave.

Cancer: Esoteric Cancer is extremely motivated to become a highly advanced spiritual presence on Earth. Its ambitious, sparkling cardinal water traits manifest very directly and powerfully in that context. An advanced spiritual presence is attained by virtue. It is. Cancer cannot cut corners there. Vices must be minimized, and practical virtues emphasized as well as real spiritual awareness. What are some pitfalls? Cancer does tend to try to cut corners too often, and it adds up to no good. Lies and manipulation are bad news. Cancer’s lying is often about trying to cut corners. Sometimes Cancer uses lying and manipulation to hide, but it actually makes them very vulnerable. They usually don’t forget the truth, and it becomes very important to live in an atmosphere of truth and forthrightness so that advancement can take place. When Cancer energies allow themselves to have a temper reaction, they tend to not know how to discharge their aggression, which is best done through play (not a cruel pretense at play). Note that Cancer can be charming at childlike, but never pulls off childish well. If Cancer uses aggression to be passive aggressively violent or otherwise violent, their every facet is compromised. They become some of our least favorite people this way.

Leo: Esoteric Astrology says that a Leo dominant lifetime is extremely concerned with developing a self that is whole and feels whole. Have you ever seen a lion get something wrong? They get embarrassed and it can upset them for a very long time. Learning and internalizing the difference between right and wrong (including inside specific skill sets) and choosing to do the right thing consistently is very fertile and helpful territory for Leo. It is intrinsically satisfying to do right. They are lost without this practice. There are many ways that Leo energies have trouble if they lose dignity, and it’s the moral wrongs that really erode dignity most of all. At the same time, Leo should avoid hypersensitivity and petty punishment moves, as should every sign. Despite how they feel, Leos do not make good autocrats, and should not believe that their emotions are infallible sources of information. They can have trouble interpreting things, and mess up catastrophically when they project themselves mentally into the center of all things while failing to learn to center themselves in self-mastery and self-control.

Virgo: In the alchemy of transmutation, medieval alchemists knew that it was harder to get any metal to become silver than it was to turn silver into gold. The Moon represented silver and the Sun represented gold. Silver represented spirituality and high attainment while gold represented a glorious end point in a long process. The Moon rules esoteric Virgo. Alchemists and Virgo find purity and purification highly necessary. Purity is not anything arbitrary, it is an extreme yet attainable point of integrity. Corrupted Virgo is a tragic thing. Plaintive Virgo isn’t as dramatic and sympathetic as they think they are. They do not come off as pleasant when whiny. Similarly, tragedy is not as exciting as they think it is. It is a feeling that arises when something has been ruined. It’s very rare for anyone at all to pull off ghoulish palatably, and it’s never Virgo. Being habitually mean or nasty turns Virgo into a fallen apart contraption of a person. Potential is squandered when Virgo doesn’t bother to be good. Delusion never becomes them. Silver makes for a stark mirror. The Moon does not smile upon lunacy.

Libra: Esoteric Astrology tells us that Libra seldom incarnates without a soul mate, and that searching for a soul mate may be some of the best life’s work they can do. It also advises Libra to hone itself to a system of perfected judgment, which Libra has a natural aptitude for if they stay honest and sweet-natured. These are lofty goals, and they can take courage to achieve. Craven Libra is a broken Libra, and they usually feel it. Libra maintains integrity (even including the many structural integrities involved in living life) by placing extra focus on the moral realities of right and wrong, veering steadily toward what’s right again and again. They must be brave and conscientious in their correct judgment, but also be open to learning. Good judgment doesn’t make anyone a know-it-all. In general, it’s really important that Libra not suck; they don’t find it all that tolerable. Libra droops quickly from any wrongdoing. Libra should never get carried away with any wrongdoing. Too far is way too far.

Scorpio: Scorpio is sometimes called “the sign of the Disciple” in Esoteric Astrology. The fixed water sign of the Western zodiac, if Scorpio’s fixed energy can be said to resemble a type of water found in nature it would be a waterfall, which is often associated with purification. In a similar vein, Scorpio should take extra care to never allow itself to get filthy. Scorpio is said to often have a solid chance to spiritually advance to become a soul-infused person in their current lifetime. They can often even progress to become a holy person (e.g. a saint, a sage, etc.) if they walk their path scrupulously and reverently. But problems can arise in Scorpio nature. Scorpio often experiences things with extra intensity, and they create problems when they spin out or get carried away as a result. The proper response is to use the intensity as a prompt to examine what decisions should be made in the situation, and to make the right ones, which is what eases the tension in the intensity and provides the euphoria desired. Note that it is never reasonable to expect other people to provide euphoria; it really does come from within. Scorpio can too easily get caught up in complication (including sneakiness) and end up thinking that’s life. It’s not. It’s tiring. They should refresh themselves by getting straightforward and honest, and allowing the moral absolutes that deal with harmless versus harmful to direct them. Esoteric factors in Western Astrology teach that high quality Scorpio energy feels more like an eagle to us than it feels like a scorpion. Scorpio must absolutely rise above evil. The battle between good and evil is within. Never let that battle break your inner boundaries to unleash evil upon the world.

Sagittarius: The esoteric ruler of Sagittarius is a unique point called Esoteric Earth, which is always at an 180° opposition to the placement of the Sun. Esoteric Earth has to do with the interplay between Earth and the concept of a divine Creative force or Creator. It also carries messages about Earth’s destiny and evolutionary process and the life paths of the individuals here. Sagittarius can really thrill to these themes. And they need to commune with the nature here on Earth periodically, otherwise they become ungrounded and can lapse into an existence with no sense of peace. Esoteric Sagittarius has special interest in the Higher Self, which is a record and manifestation of one’s devotional service and divine connection over multiple lifetimes. Sagittarius has a tendency to be boisterous, and must take care not to be overbearing. It isn’t good for them to force things too much; they love to learn and have things to learn. The sign of Sagittarius is represented by a centaur (a half man/half horse), and people holding a lot of this energy at their best remind us of good knights (noble men who ride horses, and preferably protect a worthwhile status quo from evil, right wrongs, etc.). Sagittarius resonates very strongly with accepting and navigating sacred quests, where protecting what is good is paramount and spiritual attainment and refinement are the just rewards. Much like Arthurian knights in stories, though, they must strive for right and avoid the raping, the wanton violence, the pillaging, the vices of power that chivalric codes sought to avert. They have to avoid being scary. Things become such a dismal mess when they are scary. Sagittarius becomes obviously horrible once they stop trying to be good.

Capricorn: Saturn is Capricorn’s esoteric and exoteric ruler both, and in Esoteric Astrology Saturn is known as the Lord of Karma. Saturn wants (and can often force) Capricorn to confront karma (from their current lifetime and sometimes from previous lifetimes as well) often and well, cleansing through legitimate means as they go, so that their wrongs do not calcify into torture devices and cages for others and self. Exoterically, Saturn shows us where we have to toughen up. Capricorn often needs to learn how to be tough enough (in the right ways) to be good-natured while weathering hardships and delays, but to not be so tough on others. The worst thing (besides the aforementioned torture devices and cages, of course) is if Capricorn, who can enjoy becoming an honest high achiever, refuses to accept responsibility for wrongdoing or in general. It’s almost as bad when Capricorn can’t be honest with themselves (or about themselves), which wastes time but also just about everything else.

Aquarius: Esoteric Astrology says that Aquarius is an agent of light, even when it has to shine it through the darkness. This is a tendency and mission, but not a guarantee, and definitely not fodder for boasting. Aquarius must learn the lessons of the previous air sign, Libra, and its developed ability to judge correctly, in order to shine the right kind of light, the durable light: good intentions and good humor are not quite enough to hold someone in proper stead through the Apocalypse. Aquarius must be conscientious all through life, guiding itself to stay motivated and on task, and must watch itself and not pick up the bad habits of others or indulge bad habits in general, despite what direction the energy of pure acceptance may lie in. A person is not a group. Aquarius must never lose sight of the fact that as human beings, it’s our business to learn things and then really know them. Not everything is abstract. Confusion and ignorance are obstacles too costly to allow to stand, and Aquarius of all people knows that confusion and ignorance carry no treasure. It’s important to hold onto the most stable truths available for support, and to stay friendly to the right ideas. It’s also important for Aquarius to be willing to suspect liars of lying, it isn’t rude. But don’t be rude, as rude Aquarius gets to be uncivilized too easily. And if Aquarius gets mean and doesn’t bother to care about it enough to stop themselves in time, they go too far astray. They risk becoming the darkness, where is their light?

Pisces: According to Esoteric Astrology, it is in Pisces that the Victory of Love is achieved. Well, can be achieved. The love indicated is very broad-spectrum and immersive, and includes personal and impersonal love for people as well as love for self and God (or Goddess, Great Spirit, the Universe, etc., things good and enormous), and love for what is good. Chaos is the enemy here, and more specifically entropy, disintegration in life and purpose. What entropy threatens that is good, love seeks to hold. Entropy enclosing evil and destroying it is more like the order of justice than it is like chaos, but of course there are quicker and surer paths to justice. Water signs: why be lazy? Good must be protected and promoted. Pisces needs to develop and maintain a feel for this. Without an active conscience they become something intolerable. Pisces must remember that there are reasons to get angry, when injustice is found and when evil is nurtured. They must get angry at evil and support the destruction of evil without fail. The point is not to demonstrate anger in an exhibitionist manner, but to take the right stand. And then to rediscover and recenter one’s own ability to love as necessary.

Sharks don’t even have a word for climate.

The two types of Earth creatures currently most responsible for accelerating climate change are humans and sharks.

We know about the first one, but the second one may be rather surprising.

Sharks have recently been overpopulating Earth’s oceans, changing their ecosystems and chemistry. The reason is because their evolutionary design is very durable, and climate change doesn’t really throw any particular challenges their way. The result of so many extra sharks is that Earth’s oceans are becoming more unpredictable. The oceans are where most of Earth’s life is, and where life on Earth began. It’s hard to overestimate how much what’s going on in our oceans affects what happens on Earth systemically.

How bad is climate change?

Climate change (a term noticeably more nebulous but possibly also more accurate than global warming, which was the term that preceded it) is reportedly galloping along. Climate change crisis has been a topic of much concern since the late 1900s. The damage so far associated with it is said to be staggering, and it is a topic of much preoccupation. It’s looking like if nothing else changes, climate change alone could become responsible for decimating Earth’s current population (reducing it by 10%) in about fourteen years. Is climate change caused by humans and their industries? To a point, yes. Is it stoppable? Perhaps not exactly, in the sense that climate is still a frequently-changing system, to a certain extent, but the human influence upon it could stop or be altered in various ways. Is it reversible? Yes. The reports that the ozone layer is repairing, probably due to various industries phasing out chlorofluorocarbons, seem to be true and would eventually mean that part of the atmosphere should be able to do its job well again, which may theoretically make carbon emissions less dangerous to the climate and counteract the notorious greenhouse effect. At present, humanity and its governments and other stewards should be planning on constructing as many dams as it takes, which will alleviate many (but not all) of the threats of climate change. This is a time-honored solution during periods with high or rising sea levels.

As it stands, we may be unlikely to find the best solutions to all our problems during the Kali Yuga, which according to Earth Logos was already due to end circa 2012.

The theory that the Earth has much in common with organisms is true. The cure for its current troubles is holistic. There’s a quiet yet powerful way to remedy the Earth’s distressed state of health, though it may seem somewhat esoteric.

Climate change will get better during the Satya Yuga. That’s the next place to go (time-wise) once we wrap up the Kali Yuga. A lot of other modern day crises will get better during the Satya Yuga. That is part of what defines the Satya Yuga, which promises to be a time of dharma (humans in balance with nature and their divinely inspired missions) and harmony, as well as technologies we can hardly imagine now. Watch what happens if we get there. In the meantime, the prescription is to be good to one another, and apply ourselves to the right tasks.
