Fomalhaut is the watcher in the South, the Royal Star associated with the archangel Gabriel. It is sometimes known within the set of four Royal Stars as the “Fish’s Mouth”. Earth humans classify Fomalhaut as part of the constellation Piscis Austrinus, the southern fish.
