Apocalypse

How bad is climate change?

Climate change (a term noticeably more nebulous but possibly also more accurate than global warming, which was the term that preceded it) is reportedly galloping along. Climate change crisis has been a topic of much concern since the late 1900s. The damage so far associated with it is said to be staggering, and it is a topic of much preoccupation. It’s looking like if nothing else changes, climate change alone could become responsible for decimating Earth’s current population (reducing it by 10%) in about fourteen years. Is climate change caused by humans and their industries? To a point, yes. Is it stoppable? Perhaps not exactly, in the sense that climate is still a frequently-changing system, to a certain extent, but the human influence upon it could stop or be altered in various ways. Is it reversible? Yes. The reports that the ozone layer is repairing, probably due to various industries phasing out chlorofluorocarbons, seem to be true and would eventually mean that part of the atmosphere should be able to do its job well again, which may theoretically make carbon emissions less dangerous to the climate and counteract the notorious greenhouse effect. At present, humanity and its governments and other stewards should be planning on constructing as many dams as it takes, which will alleviate many (but not all) of the threats of climate change. This is a time-honored solution during periods with high or rising sea levels.

As it stands, we may be unlikely to find the best solutions to all our problems during the Kali Yuga, which according to Earth Logos was already due to end circa 2012.

The theory that the Earth has much in common with organisms is true. The cure for its current troubles is holistic. There’s a quiet yet powerful way to remedy the Earth’s distressed state of health, though it may seem somewhat esoteric.

Climate change will get better during the Satya Yuga. That’s the next place to go (time-wise) once we wrap up the Kali Yuga. A lot of other modern day crises will get better during the Satya Yuga. That is part of what defines the Satya Yuga, which promises to be a time of dharma (humans in balance with nature and their divinely inspired missions) and harmony, as well as technologies we can hardly imagine now. Watch what happens if we get there. In the meantime, the prescription is to be good to one another, and apply ourselves to the right tasks.

Alert: Mass poisonings and contamination

Over the last several weeks, people all over the world have been experiencing poisonous gas attacks in their neighborhoods, shopping districts, destinations, etc. Authorities and news outlets have interpreted and reported on these attacks as an alarming accumulation of air pollution, but we have actually been seeing an unprecedented number of domestic terrorist attacks.

At the same time, a record number of consumers have been buying food, drinks, and other consumables tainted with poison and otherwise sabotaged, sometimes with body fluids, some of them infected with the SARS virus that causes COVID-19, STIs (STDs) including HIV, and other pathogens. Medications and vaccines may have also been tainted at the time of manufacture or afterwards. Some water plants have been attacked and targeted for poisoning and contamination.

Industries and utilities and the workers involved used to produce things for us and provide services for us that reached very high standards, and that is part of the joy of civilization. Things were clean, they worked, and we felt grateful. This kind of sabotage we’ve been experiencing recently is devastating for the average person who realizes they’ve been attacked. Things don’t seem as safe these days. Hope they get better. Let them get better.

There is reason to believe that some of these are coordinated terrorist attacks connected with the “Be Around” pedophile terrorist group (also known as “Sad Satan” and “Creepy Families”), which is based in North America and operates to a large degree online. They’ve been encouraging this sort of thing, and they are miserable human beings, often lying to influence people to do extreme harm in the world.

Yugas and Ages

Neither yugas nor astrological ages are entirely standardized. They come when they come, and they tend to leave when it’s time.

Yugas are part of a very long cycle, and have evolutionary significance. When the world is due to turn from one yuga to another, the signs are extremely dire. Things become highly untenable. Usually mistakes are made that hint at decay in the old paradigm and the coming of a new one. The mistakes have solutions, and the new yuga grows alongside those solutions and the natural realignments that occur.

Some of us experienced yuga turns in past lives in other star systems or here on Earth. Earth records show that humans physically evolved on Earth during the Dvapara Yuga. The Dvapara Yuga ended with the Fall of Eden, along with various other mistakes that happened around that time. Gaining the Satya Yuga will require enough people making sure things go very right, since Kali Yuga to Satya Yuga is a huge leap in quality otherwise unknown. All the other yuga turns are actually downgrades, but the quality of existence itself in each past yuga (and during the main part of the Kali Yuga, when it was not too decayed) is still much better than the current bottoming out we’ve been experiencing in the late, late Kali Yuga.

Ages are a shorter cycle. The Kali Yuga has been in progress for multiple ages straight now. The Age of Pisces is ending. The signs that an age is decaying are subtler than with yugas. Ages often last more than a thousand years, and the distinctions between them have more to do with specific spiritual needs and subtle influences that come to the forefront as the energy of the previous age ebbs away. As the next age blossoms, new archetypes and iconographies come into sharper focus. The ages go in reverse zodiacal order (like North Node in astrology usually moves, with brief direct periods analogous to the retrograde periods occasionally observed in planets).

The story of Moses banning a gold statue of Apis (or another polytheistic sacred bull or calf) is often interpreted as both a statement about monotheism and its importance right then and as an intuitive understanding that the old Age of Taurus was over, and a new way must be sought.

Similarly, Christianity’s association between Satan (or the devil) and goats may have been a conscious or unconscious statement that the old Age of Aries and some of its ways contained pitfalls during the Age of Pisces.

There isn’t supposed to be any Satan nor devil (nor even Eshu) in the Age of Aquarius (and therefore no witchcraft). No lords of illusion here, out of the Piscean Age’s slippery grasp. No backwardness. The Age of Aquarius is that much about order and collective good.

So it isn’t really about how many years each age and yuga lasts. It’s more like watching a climate shift throughout the year and seeing weather systems roll through. The timing is more naturalistic than clockwork.

Longevity in the Satya

Legends about the Satya Yuga say that people then live longer lifetimes than we do now. They’re virtuous and beautiful. You can read about this elsewhere on the internet. They say also that the Kali Yuga is too sinful, and that in it we are living in comparative misery.

Corruption and villainy are very rare and detested in the Satya Yuga. Polyamory and other nonmonogamy should be much easier. People are more gracious, and dharma pervades their relationships.

The Satya Yuga is due on everyone’s timeline, whether they are Hindu or not. Some people call the Satya Yuga the Age of Aquarius (although that’s just the first part of it, I think), the Golden Era, or Paradise.

We could be inside the Satya timeframe or close in ten years, theoretically. We could be those people. Ascension would provide transition between Kali Yuga biology and Satya Yuga biology and culture.

Some individuals may resurrect and end up living multiple centuries. Living to 150 may start becoming common for everyone else.

Are humans due for valid modern myths?

Modern myths would provide the substance that valid contemporary updates for religions could be made of.

Could religions be more useful if we allow some of them a new mythic cycle? If each mythic narrative proves to teach us something useful about God, Spirit, morality, or philosophy?

To get to the Satya Yuga mythic cycle and ultimately the Satya Yuga (i.e. up to thousands of years of humanity at our best), I think the myths in the percolating current cycle have to have happy endings that reveal how cool and rewarding it is to be good and do what’s right. Satya Yuga media probably isn’t going to rely on deconstruction of culture (which has been dominant since the 1990s) nor the reconstitution of culture (which has become co-dominant since the 2010s, and do note that the Satya Yuga will probably feature some of the best reconstruction ever seen in media), it will be forming new narrative fictional tropes based on the new real-life myths and the real-life problem solving introduced in them, if I’m reading history correctly.

To be myths, the stories of the coming heroes have to be part of the upcoming Satya Yuga/Aquarian cycle of mythic true stories, or we else we will collectively remain in a state of decay, where we have a stale yuga and no new myths, because in that case the true story will not have transcended to become myth. It would be more like a mundane horror movie or tragedy, not a myth.

Modern myths would provide the substance that valid contemporary updates for lots of things could be made of.

Kalki, final Vishnu avatar

“For whenever there is a decline in righteousness and an increase in un-righteousness, Arjuna, then I emanate myself. For the protection of good people, for the destruction of evil-doers, and for the restoration of righteousness, I take birth in age after age.”

– Krishna, Bhagavad Gita

Messages of Kalki, the expected final Vishnu avatar who (never being evil) overcomes evil with good, and who helps restore dharma to the world, have existed for a long time. They’re prophecies given by Hindu prophets, and they hold secrets about the Apocalypse and yuga turn (the transition from the Kali Yuga to the Satya Yuga). They talk about Kalki as a real person who lives at the end of the Kali Yuga (our current age, which is at its end, if things run their proper course).

I’ve recovered some interesting information that seems to be present in various Kalki prophecies, some of which is obscure and/or known only in certain regions:

  • Kalki is the living avatar of Vishnu, a good and just god. Kalki champions dharma, which involves people fulfilling their potential as good and productive beings (individually and collectively).
  • Kalki is Vishnu born to help humans attain the living paradise of Satya Yuga.
  • Kalki hates evil.
  • Kalki is supposed to defeat evil. Kalki tries to save the world alongside the other people who want to rise above evil, defeat it, and have a good and productive future for humanity.
  • In or before the 1800s, prophets started having visions of Kalki turning out to be a woman: Vishnu’s first female human avatar. Otherwise, Kalki seems to undertake the very serious challenge of the Apocalypse in his youth or early manhood.
  • In or before the 1500s, prophets started having visions of Kalki having trouble at some point with being plagiarized. Even before that, it was understood that Kalki would be a sacred scholar who studied morality, dharma, ethics, and other things. Vishnu avatars are all philosophers.
  • In or before the 1400s, prophets started describing that Kalki would be one of several children, and have evil siblings, who are very depraved, who are unjust to Kalki, and who perpetrate offensive acts that Vishnu hates, and that the righteous hate. Kalki, however, was expected to be good and just, and to have sound philosophies.
  • Kalki is predicted to have chronic health issues for long periods, and these health problems will place undue limitations on Kalki’s life and lifestyle.
  • Kalki has something like a built-in cosmic calculator. This could describe a kind of alchemical mental state connected with Logos.
  • There has been an understanding that Kalki would be a musician, and may write songs.
  • Kalki was expected to have a mystery to solve about some of the evil going on in the world, and would present what was discovered to the public on some kind of screen.
  • Kalki was prophesied by some to be a survivor of abuse.
  • It’s been said that Kalki works specifically with (and as) multiple Vedic and Upanishad gods, including Vishnu, Kartikeya’s identities (notably Murugan, Skanda, and Subrahmanya), and Durga, and counts as the avatar of all of those. Kalki also has a special relationship with the god Shiva, who is Kartikeya’s father and Durga’s consort. Kalki also has special identification with Rama, Vishnu’s first human avatar.
  • Kalki is an avatar who becomes aware of being an avatar at some point relatively early in life.
  • Kalki must live a long life. Kalki may experience a resurrection and transfiguration at some point.
  • Kalki is associated with a white horse. Kalki may own a white horse.
  • Kalki is associated with a parrot. Kalki may own a parrot.
  • Kalki is associated with a sword. Kalki may receive or have a physical, etheric, or metaphorical weapon that could be called or compared to a sword.
  • Some prophecies have claimed that Kalki would be born in a land that was associated with dreams.
  • Kalki is supposed to be instrumental in getting humanity through the Apocalypse at the end of the Kali Yuga and into the sacred Satya Yuga.
  • Kalki confronts demons, and engages in battles with them.
  • Kalki cares about and cooperates with righteous people who champion virtue during a time when too much human virtue is lost.
  • More than one person, including someone who holds special interest for the god Brahma, is prophesied to be destined to help and be close with Kalki. They must have good and enjoyable lives to create an environment that blooms into the Satya Yuga.
  • Kalki has a spouse at some point who is probably associated with an island somewhere and is either named after a flower, or known for being beautiful or delicate like a flower.
  • Kalki is a leader.
  • The numbers of years often quoted as the duration of the various yugas may very likely be estimations or figurative.
  • Kalki will be born around the time when humans are running out of dharma so much that they’re hitting a very serious crisis point.
